EPL: Liverpool Edge Leicester City, Brighten Top Four Chances

Liverpool continued their push for a place in next season’s UEFA Champions League with a hard-earned 2-1 victory over Leicester City.
The visitors made the ideal start when they took the lead after just four minutes as poor defending by Liverpool allowed Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to race through on goal before firing past Alisson.
However, Liverpool fought back to equalise and grab the winner through a double first half own goals by Wout Faes.
Faes becomes just the fourth player to score two own goals in a single Premier League game, after Jamie Carragher in 1999, in the encounter between Liverpool and Manchester United, Michael Proctor in 2003, Sunderland vs Charlton and Jonathan Walters in 2013, Stoke vs Chelsea.
Liverpool are now two points away from reaching the top four which will guarantee a UEFA Champions League spot next season.
Leicester City, on their part are 13th with 17 points and have lost 10 matches so far this season.
In the other match decided tonight, Brentford defeated West Ham 2-0.
