Enyimba Part Ways With Coach Olarenwaju

The People’s Elephant, Enyimba International of Aba have parted ways with their head coach Yemi Olarenwaju.

In a statement released on the club’s X handle, the two time CAF Champions League winners thanked coach Olarenwaju for his services and wishes him the best in his future endeavors.

The statement reads, “Enyimba FC can confirm that it has parted ways with head coach Yemi Olarenwaju.

“The club thanks coach Olarenwaju for his services and wishes him the best in his future endeavors.”

Enyimba have not won a match since they defeated Ikorodu City 2-1 on October 27th. They have drawn with Bayelsa United, Remo Stars, Abia Warriors, Enugu Rangers, Sunshine Stars and Plateau United in the Nigerian Premier League. The are currently 11th on the league table.

They have not fared better in the continent as well, where they are currently last in Group D of the CAF Confederation Cup with only one point having  lost 2-0 to Al Masry, drew 2-2 at home with Zamalek and lost 3-0 to Black Bulls
