Following the successful agreement signed and sealed between Checkbest International Limited ,developers of Enyimba Mall Outlets and Abia SME bank Limited , offtakers have started rushing to the bank to pick the expression of interest forms and to subsequently pay and take ownership of the exquisitely completed shops .
Newsmen gathered that some traders, especially on garments and leather, are taking advantage of the discounted sales and complimentary financial rebate, by the bank ,including the provision of credit facilities, to acquire shops for themselves .
The development indeed gives credence to the statement made by the bank MD during the signing of the MOU when he confidently stated that, “our packages for the would -be- investors are so alluring that the offer for a shop will be irresistible,” and just few days, after that brief ceremony conducted at the Mall, people are already trooping to the bank to buy off the shops.
Responding to questions from Newsmen, one of the prospective offtaker confessed that the bank’s offer is indeed encouraging noting that the offer makes payment for the shop easier and more flexible.
Recall that recently the management of the Abia SME Bank led by her Managing Director Mr Kingsley Nwaobilor and the management of Checkbest Limited led by Mr Chiedozie Njoku had sealed an agreement that grants the Bank the authority to market and sale the available shops in the Mall.
