ENUGU: Pastor Gives Charity To Indigent Widows In Enugu, Ebonyi Others

The Command Leader of the Salvation Army, Enugu and Ebonyi Section, Major Pius Azubuike, and wife, Florence have distributed assorted gift items to indigent widows from the three of the South-East states.

The widows drawn from Ebonyi, Anambra, and Enugu went home with different gift items ranging from wrappers, food stuffs, cash, detergents and different other gift items.

The beneficiaries were also refunded their transport cost by the pastor.

Azubuike and his wife had been known for giving alms to widows and poor in the society as way of helping those in need as Christ taught humanity.

The event was tagged, “Every Where For Jesus Christ Widows and Widowers Fellowship, Powered By Majors Azubuike Pius And Florence”.

According to Azubuike, he and wife have been giving charity to the less privilege individuals in the society for over 14 years.

“It is a special vision/project from God to us, to build hope, courage and faith in them, knowing that Jesus Christ is the best husband they will ever have.

“When God called me into the ministry, He told me to comfort his people. This we have been doing over the years. We are call,”Messengers of Hope”.

He said the Programme had been sustained by God himself and those that had passion for the needy.

“We aim at putting smiles on their faces . to God be the glory.
