Emetu commissions Paradise Crystal Hotel, assures investors of business friendly environment.
Abia State government has reassured investors of a very conducive and friendly business environment in the state.
Unveiling an ultra modern hotel, Paradise Crystal Hotel in Umuahia, built by Mr. Ubani Uche, the State Deputy Governor, Engr Ikechukwu Emetu commended the promoter of the investment, Mr Ubani for investing in his state of origin in response to the clarion call of Gov. Alex Otti for businessmen of Abia extractions to consider the state first, in their investment location.
He said that it was to drive investment in the state that the state government would continue to provide an enabling environment where business like this should thrive by easing their means of doing business.
“My prayer as a government is that God will continue to replenish pocket in seeing that this very business here flourishes properly so that you can invest in other things in Abia state which will boost creating of job opportunity”, he said.
“When we are talking about Abia,we are talking not just people who are born in Abians , we are talking about people who live in Abia State, people who do their businesses in Abia State, pay their taxes in Abia , then you are already an Abian”, he said
Earlier, the Managing Director/CEO, Paradise Crystal Hotel and Paradise Paint, Mr. Ubani Uche said that he decided to invest in Abia due to the conducive and friendly business policies of Gov Otti.
Mr Ubani commended the infrastructural development of the Governor which he said attract businessmen and investors to consider Abia as a destination investment point.
He thanked the Deputy Governor for coming to grace the event and assured that he would continue to collaborate with the state government in the economic development of the state.
Also speaking, the MD/CEO, Tropicana Property Estate and Tropicana Royal Hotel, Hon (Chief) Emmanuel Egwu said that many of them are now bringing down their investments down home to join develop the state because of the good enabling environment being created by the government in power unlike what we used to have in the past.
Chief Egwu who is into real estate and owner of Tropicana Royal Hotel, commended Mr Ubani for the massive investment and infrastructure he sunk in building the Paradise Crystal Hotel.
He attributed the spates of investment springing in all parts of the state due to what the present government was doing which now encouraged many to come home and invest.
He expressed delight that Paradise Crystal Hotel would thrive like his own investment had and prayed to God to give Mr Ubani huge success in his investment.
