Easter: Gov Otti Calls For Unity, Renewed Hope Among Abians

The Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti, has extended warm felicitations to the people of the state on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebration, calling for renewed commitment to love, sacrifice and collective progress.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ferdinand Ekeoma, Governor Otto expressed gratitude to God for the gift of life and the opportunity to once again commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The Governor noted that the resurrection of Christ symbolises victory over death and offers eternal hope to humanity, urging Abians to reflect deeply on its significance.

He reminded the people of the need to draw inspiration from what he described as the “supreme and most memorable sacrifice” made on the cross of Calvary, stressing that such values should inspire acts of altruism and unity among citizens.
