Easter: Abia Lawmaker, Erondu Jnr Greets Christians

The member, representing Obingwa-West State in Abia state House of Assembly (ABHA), Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr has enjoined Christian faithfuls to imbibe the sacrificial life of Jesus Christ.

In a Press release from his Media Office and made available to newsmen today, the lawmaker underscored the importance of reflecting on the teachings of Christ, which emphasizes sacrifice, love, unity, empathy and compassion among others, especially at these critical times in Nigeria.

The former chairman, Obingwa Local Government Area (LGA) who also urged his constituents not to despair owing to the harsh economic climate of the country, restated his commitment towards championing initiatives that would deepen socio-economic development in his constituency and beyond through collaborative efforts.

The Chairman, House Committee on Public Service, ABHA, also maintained that Easter serves as a time for spiritual reflection and renewal, imploring his constituents and citizens alike to seize the occasion of Easter to strive towards a brighter future for all.

The Uhie-born legislator who further charged Christians to rekindle their faith, strengthen their bonds of friendship and family as they commemorate the 2024 Easter festivities, wished them a joyous and blessed Easter celebration, filled with love and hope.
