Dr. Oluebube Chukwu Commends Gov. Otti Over Abia Security Trust Fund

 

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Abia State on Due Process, Dr. Oluebube Amarauche Chukwu, has commended the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, for the successful launch of the Abia State Security Trust Fund.

The establishment of the Security Trust Fund is a strategic step by the State Government to consolidate the significant achievements recorded in securing lives and property since the inception of Governor Otti’s administration. These efforts have created a safe and conducive environment that continues to drive rapid development across the state.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Chukwu described Governor Otti’s security strategy as “sublime and workable,” noting its effectiveness in addressing emerging security challenges and ensuring a peaceful atmosphere in the state.

He further emphasized that the Security Trust Fund will be instrumental in sustaining and enhancing the state’s security framework. It will support the procurement of logistics, surveillance equipment, and other critical infrastructure for security agencies. Additionally, the Fund will facilitate the establishment of an ultramodern command and control center for statewide monitoring, ensuring swift emergency response and real-time interventions for the safety of all Abians.

In separate remarks, the Chairman of the Abia State Security Trust Fund Board of Trustees, Mr. Stanley Obiamarije represented by Vice Chairman Sir Johnson Chukwu, and the Secretary of the Board, Ms. Nkolika Cleopatra Ubani, outlined the objectives, expected outcomes, and operational strategies of the Fund as it commences full operations.

The Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation, a multidimensional nonprofit organization, also graced the occasion. Represented by its Programme Manager, Mrs. Helen Mannic, the Foundation made a donation in support of the Fund and reaffirmed its commitment to initiatives that enhance the quality of life for Abia residents—particularly the less privileged.

The event was both vibrant and purposeful, drawing the attendance of distinguished personalities including the Honourable Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Hon. Barr. Nkeiru Onyejeocha; Chancellor of Abia State University, Mrs. Uju Ifejika; Prince Arthur Eze; Dr. Uche Samson Ogah; Chief Innocent Chukwuma; top bank CEOs and captains of industry; the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ken Kalu; Chief of Staff, Pastor Caleb Ajagba; Honourable Commissioners; and other senior government officials.
