As a part of his commitment to render selfless services to Abians in general, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Due Process and Public Procurement Bureau, Dr. Oluebube Chukwu has pledged his unalloyed support in ensuring quality democracy dividends gets to the people of Umunneochi.
Dr. Chukwu who disclosed this while receiving in audience, the Executive Chairman of Umunneochi Local Government Council who paid him a courtesy at his Government House Office in Umuahia, emphasized that he will provide the necessary assistance to ensure the smooth implementation of the Mayor’s developmental plans, reaffirming his commitment to fostering progress and sustainable growth in Umunneochi.
While commending the Council Chairman for his dedication to the development of Umunneochi, Dr. Chukwu expressed optimism about the proposed projects.
The Due Process Boss, however, assured the Mayor of the Bureau’s readiness to explore partnership opportunities that align with its mandate to uphold due process in governance.
Earlier in his speech, the Umunneochi Local Government Council Chairman, Mayor Sunday Afurobi had outlined key developmental initiatives he stated that is aimed at transforming Umunneochi.
Part of the initiatives he stressed were the importance of collaboration among stakeholders and dignitaries of the local government to ensure the successful realisation of these projects.
The Mayor, therefore noted that the potential for these initiatives is to foster infrastructural development, economic empowerment, and strategic partnerships, adding that they are all geared towards improving the lives of residents in Umunneochi and addressing critical infrastructure needs in the area.
The Council Chairman was accompanied on the visit by Chief Ike Opigwe, one of his allies and a Party Stalwart.
