The Senior Special Assistant to the Abia State Governor on Due Process and Public Procurement, Dr. Oluebube Chukwu, has reaffirmed government’s commitment to enhancing public procurement standards in Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), across the state.
Dr Chukwu who stated this during a live appearance on Zik FM’s program, “Obi Ochichi Abia”, which X-rays the activities of the Abia state government, outlined the steps being taken to strengthen the Bureau of Due Process and Public Procurement.
He emphasized the present administration’s dedication to transparency and pointed out that under his watch, “the Bureau is committed to enhancing efficiency,accountability and transparency in the state’s procurement processes“.
Reflecting on the achievements of the current administration, the Due Process boss commended Governor Otti’s leadership, particularly his strides in infrastructure development across the state.
Dr Chukwu while noting that the state’s transformation under Governor Otti’s leadership is unprecedented, said that the progress made by the present administration within 16 months is only a precursor to what is yet to come in the greater transformation envisioned for Abia.
“Under Governor Alex Otti’s visionary leadership, Abia is experiencing unprecedented growth. Abians have never had it better since our state’s inception.
“The transformative impact of Governor Alex Otti’s leadership is undeniable, even to the most skeptical. What we’ve witnessed so far is just the beginning.
“Governor Otti is poised to elevate Abia to a world-class hub of innovation, entrepreneurship, and prosperity, and showcase the best of Nigeria’s potential”, Dr. Chukwu remarked.
The Governor’s Aide called on citizens to actively support and engage with the present administration’s developmental agenda to ensure Abia reaches its full potential.
He pointed out that their support is essential to ensuring the full delivery of democracy dividends and the state’s advancement to the next level of development.
“We urge Abians to give their full support to the Governor so that he can continue delivering on his promises and advancing the state’s development. Governor Otti is committed to taking Abia to the next level”, Dr. Chukwu added.
