Double Celebration For Abia Information Commissioner As Sons Wed Same Day

 

It was double Celebration for the family of Abia State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Barr. Eze Chikamnayo as his two sons, Ezindu Jubilee Eze-Chikamnayo and Caleb Ugochukwu Eze-Chikamnayo, Saturday, wedded their heartthrobs, former Miss Ezinne Desire Chris and former Miss Chidinma Blessing Obi, respectively, on the same day.
The Colourful wedding ceremony held at the Aba Sports Club was attended by dignitaries, politicians, Captains of Industries and other Very Important Personalities from across and beyond Abia.

 

The Church wedding conducted by the House On The Rock Church was preceded by a grand reception at the same venue.

 

Speaking in an interview with Newsmen, the visibly excited father of the grooms and Commissioner for information and Strategy, Barr. Eze Chikamnayo, advised his children and daughters in-law to always times put Jesus Christ at the centre of their marriage in addition to imbibing the virtue of unconditional love.

 

“Love is not love except it is unconditional. Let them realize that marriage is a journey and once you have committed to that journey, there is no need to look back.

 

“There is no perfect human being, there is no perfect marriage but there is a perfect understanding that can exist between two people and make them to cross mountains and to scale hurdles together where others fail”, the Information Boss stated.

He used the opportunity to thank the Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, the Speaker of the Abia House of Assembly, Chinedum Orji, the Secretary to the State Government, Barr Chris Ezem, Members of the State Executive Council, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Umunneochi LGA, Staff of Ministry of Information and all those who made the occasion memorable.

 

In his speech, the Chairman of the occasion and Managing Director, Checkbest International Limited, Mr. Chiedozie Njoku while congratulating the couples, stressed the need for tolerance among them and pointed out that tolerance contributes to the success of every marriage as no one is perfect.

He therefore charged the couples to ensure peace and tranquillity reign supreme in their union and wished them marital bliss.

 

Earlier while joining the couples, Rev. Anny Ikebudu of House On The Rock Church urged the couples to be committed in their marriages and ensure they live up to their marital vows.

He stressed the need for couples to love one another as they love God, saying that it is only through genuine love and tolerance that marriage can last and assured them that their marriages would not lack fresh oil of God.

 

In a vote of thanks on behalf of their spouses, the grooms Mr. Jubilee Ezindu Eze Chikamnayo and Mr. Calab Ugochukwu Eze Chikamnayo thanked God for making their dreams come true and assured of their commitment to one another and their martial vows.

They appreciated numerous friends and well-wishers for coming to rejoice with them and prayed God to grant their guests safe journeys back to their destinations.

 

The wedding ceremony featured exchange of marital vows, cutting of wedding cake, bridal dance among others.
