The Super Falcons of Nigeria dropped one place in the December FIFA ranking released today despite winning their ninth title in 11th edition of the Africa Women Cup of Nations that took place in Ghana.
The Nigerian ladies lost 21 points to drop from 38 to 39.
The top ten teams in women football are USA, Germany,France moved one place to third while England drop one place to fourth. Canada is fifth while Australia is sixth.
Netherlands moved three places to seventh, Japan drop one place to eighth. Sweden is ninth while Brazil dropped two places to 10th.
In men’s ranking the Super Eagles of Nigeria did not move on their 44th place as they added no point.
The top ten teams in the male category remain unchanged. They are Belgium, France, Brazil, Croatia, England, Portugal, Uruguay, Switzerland, Spain and Denmark.
