The People’s Democratic Party Ward Chairmen in lsiala Ngwa South LGA led by Comrade Jude Anyatonwu have visited the family of late Chief Michael Uwaoma (Ururuaja) who passed on recently.
This was done earlier today Monday August,28 2023 at late Uwaoma’s residence in Umuohia Village.
On arrival, the Chairman of all Ward Chairmen Comrade signed a condolence register on behalf of the Association of Ward Chairmen.
Comrade Anyatonwu while enumerating the political involvement of Late Chief Micheal Uwaoma described him as a political juggernaut, who mentored many in the game of politics.
He appreciated the active role of one his son’s Engineer Chima Elijah Uwaoma (Oceanic) with the ward chairmen which assisted in the success recorded in the 2023 State Constituency election.
Some chairmen from each of the four blocs expressed registered their sympathy with the family and urged them to be consoled.
Responding, the representative of the family Engr. Chima Uwaoma, thanked the ward chairmen for identifying with the family.
He further expressed his goodwill to the entire ward Chairmen considering their close relationship through out the campaign period.
