DEATH OF CHIEF ECHEME NNANNA KALU:A COLOSSAL AND PAINFUL LOSS says Sir Oko Chukwu.
The immediate past Deputy Governor of Abia State.Sir Ude Oko Chukwu PhD, has reacted to the sad news of the death of Chief Echeme Nnanna Kalu, one of the sons of the famous business mogul and astute politician of Abiriba Enachioken extraction,the late Chief Nnanna Kalu of the blessed memory,saying it is a colossal and painful loss.
In a release made available to newsmen by Mr. Obasi Okibeh Onwukah, Sir Oko Chukwu described the late Echeme who passed on in far away Jakarta, Indonesia after a brief illness as “a chip off the old block”and a great man among his contemporaries who contributed immensely to the growth and development of Abiriba Kingdom and beyond.
Sir Oko Chukwu noted that as the Chairman/Managing Director of Star Paper Mill Ltd.Aba, industrialist of repute and a man of quiet philanthropic disposition,the late Chief Echeme positively touched and transformed many lives within and beyond his immediate environment.
Sir Oko Chukwu deeply condoled the immediate Echeme family,the larger late Chief Nnanna Kalu dynasty and the entire people of Abiriba Enachioken on the huge and painful irreparable loss and prayed God to grant his soul eternal rest.
