Covid 19 Lockdown:Gov Ikpeazu condoles with family of Ohafia killing

 

 

Today, the Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, represented by his Deputy,  Sir Ude Oko Chukwu visited the scene of yesterday’s incident to ascertain the level of destruction done by the youths of Ohafia Local Government Area,who took to violence over the death of Mr. Sunday Ifeanyi, that was shot dead by a police constable.

The Deputy governor  was accompanied with the Brigade Commander, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, 14 Brigade Ohafia, Major General S.B. Komupari,  Area Commander,  Nigeria Police  Divisional Headquarters  Ebem Ohafia, A.C.P Toyin Sulyman, members representing Ohafia South State Constituency and Deputy speaker, Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchenna, Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Dr. D.K Uduma,Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, Chief Ukpai Agwu Ukpai, Enachioke of Abiriba, HRM.Kalu Kalu Ogbu   Transition Committee, Chairman Ohafia LGA, Hon. Fred Eke Idika.

Some of the places visited were the Nigeria Police Divisional headquarters, Ohafia, Mbem Hospital, Ebem Ohafia, Ohafia LGA, to console some of the people that sustained injury during the incident, as well as  the bereaved parents, of Mr. Sunday Ifeanyi, that was  shot dead  by a police constable.
