The Executive Chairman of Obingwa LGA, Hon. Michael Ibe Nwoke, has approved the commencement of a Uniformed Sign Post and House numbering plate for the council and engagement of Mr. Nicholas Stanley and Mr. Onuoha Nwadiuko as Revenue Agents for STREET REGISTRATION/REVALIDATION AND HOUSE NUMBERING IN OBINGWA LGA.
A statement by the Council secretary Mr. Bestman Eruba, said they are to liaise with the Works Department, Obingwa local government.
The statement further reviewed that they to work according to their terms of engagement.
He urged interested individuals and public to key into the initiative which will provide proper identification for the development of the Council and easy access to our security agencies for effective crime control.
The Chairman said the the agents will from Friday 28 January 2022 ensure that all Roads, Street, Avenues and Closes in Obingwa LGA are named and registered with Obingwa LGA.
Also that all Roads, Streets etc previously registered in Obingwa LGA shall revalidate and conform to the newly approved uniform sign post as approved by Obingwa LGA.
While all property owners in Obingwa are required to obtain and register approved House/building/plot numbers bearing their respective Road, street etc names from Obingwa LGA.
The Obingwa Council boss directs the agents to report their operations and activities weekly to the Chairman through the office of the Secretary to the Local Government, adding that those interested in registering Roads and Streets among others with their name in Obingwa LGA and other enquires on the subject matter should call the agents on Nicholas Stanley on 08060221091 or
