The much talked about Manchester Derby has come and gone with Manchester City defeating Manchester United away with two goals to nothing.
United put up a spirited fight, making some dangerous incursions into City’s vital area, but the killer instinct was not there.
City took their time, and their patience paid off in the second half when Bernardo Silva fired into David De Gea’s near post to give the visitors the lead.
Substitute, Leroy Sane scored the second goal on the 66th minute.
With this victory, Manchester City are back on top of the league table and will emerge champions if the win their remaining three league matches.
On the other hand, Manchester United are still 6th on the table.
Arsenal remain 5th on 66 points after they lost 3-1 to Wolves in tonight’s other match.
