The Senior Special Assistant to the Abia State Governor on Due Process and Procurement, Dr. Oluebube Chukwu, has called on Abians and Nigerians to draw lessons of sacrifice, hope, and resilience from the Easter season.
Dr. Chukwu urged Christian faithful to embrace faith, unity, and compassion during this period of spiritual reflection.
In a release from his media office made available to newsmen today, Dr. Chukwu said Easter stands as a timeless reminder of the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ, whose death and resurrection offer hope, redemption, and the strength to overcome challenges.
The founder of the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation (OACF), encouraged Christians to emulate the selfless love of Christ, noting that true resilience comes from the willingness to serve and uplift others, even in the face of adversity.
Highlighting the 2026 Easter celebrations, Dr. Chukwu described the occasion as an opportunity for families and communities to come together, reflect on personal and societal challenges, and renew their commitment to collective progress. He emphasized that the virtues of sacrifice and compassion should guide interactions with the less privileged and strengthen communal bonds.
The Isuochi-born Scholar further noted that the lessons of Easter extend beyond religious observance, inspiring Nigerians to persevere with courage and hope, even amid economic and social difficulties.
He reiterated Governor Alex Otti’s administration’s commitment to public service, community development, and initiatives that improve the welfare of Abians, urging citizens to sustain the ongoing bold reforms in Abia State.
