The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Abia State on Due Process, Dr. Oluebube Amarauche Chukwu, has praised Governor Alex Otti, OFR, for the successful launch of the Abia State Security Trust Fund.
Dr. Chukwu described the initiative as a strategic move to reinforce the notable progress made in safeguarding lives and property since the beginning of the Otti administration. According to him, the fund marks a new chapter in maintaining the peace and safety that has spurred rapid development across the state.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Chukwu lauded the governor’s security approach as “sublime and workable,” emphasizing its effectiveness in addressing emerging threats. He noted that the Trust Fund would significantly strengthen the state’s security architecture by supporting the acquisition of logistics, surveillance technology, and other essential infrastructure for security agencies.
He further stated that the Fund will facilitate the creation of an ultramodern command and control center for real-time monitoring and rapid emergency response—ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all Abians.
