Christmas: Prioritize peace and unity, Anyaso tells Bende leaders

 

A prominent Philanthropist and businessman, Dr Chima Anyaso, has stressed the importance of unity, love and peace, especially during the yuletide season and urged leaders of Bende Local Government Area, to prioritize peace,love and unity, as they celebrate the yuletide season.

Dr Chima Anyaso in an interview shortly after an exclusive Christmas Get-together with some esteemed Bende personalities in Umuahia, said the Christmas season called for joyful celebration and it was in that euphoria, he decided to celebrate the season with his brothers across the 13 wards that make up Bende LGA.

Acknowledging the efforts of the leaders in contributing to the growth and development of Bende community, which he said, necessitated the get-together party, Anyaso expressed his love for sharing, noting that the Christmas season is a perfect time for such acts of goodwill.

His words, “This is the time to give back, a time to celebrate our shared values and a time to show kindness to one another.

“I believe in the power of community and the collective effort to make our society better. This is just one of the many ways. I will continue to contribute and support the well-being of Bende, and I encourage others to do the same”,Anyaso remarked.

Ofuji highlighted the essence of dining with his people, irrespective of party affiliations, stressing that they were first brothers before becoming politicians.”Politics should never come in between us”,he added.

 

Dr Anyaso who distributed a wide array of food stuffs, including bags of rice, groundnut oil and other essential items, stated that the food distribution was a small token of his appreciation for their continued support and commitment to the progress of Bende and wished them a prosperous new year ahead.

Earlier in their goodwill messages, the former Bende Local Government Area chairman, Chief Emmanuel Onwuchekwa and a Rtd Permanent Secretary, Pat Irokansi,  Chief P.C. Mba, expressed their gratitude to Anyaso for the thoughtful gesture, noting that such acts of kindness, go a long way in strengthening the bonds of unity within the community.

 


They pointed that the gesture was not only a display of Anyaso’s philanthropic spirit but also a clear indication of his deep-rooted desire to uplift the lives of those in his community.

 

According to the duo, Dr Chima Anyaso has never relented in rendering support to the people of Bende, praising his level of philanthropism,while promising that the people of Bende would reciprocate his kind gestures in due time. They, however, called on leaders in Abia to take a leaf from the philanthropic nature of Dr Anyaso.
