A consummate philanthropist and founder Chima Anyaso foundation,Chima Anyaso has released bags of rice,cartons of noodles, groundnut oil, as well as cash gifts to stakeholders in Bende Local Government Area.
In a meeting organized to interact and have an interface with political leaders,exco members of the thirteen PDP wards in Bende, LGA chairmen both past and present,among others, the PDP House of Representatives candîdate for the 2019 elections, said the meeting was a usual event held every year at his country home to appreciate and solidify existing relationships with the political stakeholders in Bende regardless of party affiliations.
In an interview with Journalists, Anyaso noted that the gathering was simply to celebrate the festive season with the stakeholders as their yearly custom is, adding that since he was away during the Christmas celebration and the Ezumezu festival, he decided to celebrate the season for his people.
According to him,he loves his people and he is solely committed to anything that concerns them.
Chima Anyaso who also gave out three cars to two of his media Aids and the Woman Leader of his foundations,said empowerment has become part of his everyday life and wishes everyone in Bende is empowered.
Giving insights about his free school programme, Anyaso disclosed that his school,since inception in 2007, has been operating free education for nursery and primary school pupils of the area.
He stated that his foundation would be rolling out projects that are people centred this year, ranging from empowerment programmes, scholarships,launch of Bende Tele Health scheme and many, urging his people to continue to support the cause of Bende.
Chima Anyaso responding to whether he has any political ambition come 2023 said Bende will decide who will go for them, adding that,this time,Bende will collectively decide who will go for them.
Also,the Board of Trustees Chairman of Ofuji/Chima Anyaso Foundation,Ezeogo Emeka Onuoha, said the stakeholders meeting organized by Chima Anyaso, is not strange, neither was it a political one, adding that the convener is a philanthropist who seek ways to put smiles on people and uplift humanity.
The Director General Chima Anyaso Foundation,Chief Okey Igboko,stressed on the essence of the stakeholders meeting, saying it was done to bring people together.
He hinted that Chima Anyaso foundation had given out several empowerments to the youths, scholarships to indigent students of higher institutions, free school for pupils in his school, among others.He added that Chief Chima Anyaso is eminently qualified to hold any political position, calling on Bende sons and daughters to support and follow Chima Anyaso.
Interacting with one of the Beneficiaries of the Car gift, Chief Mrs Loveth Ojo Adimoha, expressed shock over the gift, saying she never expected the gesture from Chima Anyaso.
Adimoha, howeve, pleged her unflinching support for the Chima Anyaso brand, saying that come 2023,she would give her full support to Chima Anyaso.
