The Executive Chairman of Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia State, Chief Ifeanyi Madu has presented his award to Abia State Deputy Governor, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu.
Speaking shortly after presenting the award to Sir Oko Chukwu at Government House, Umuahia, Chief Madu informed his Excellency that the award was presented to him by the Nigerian Local Government Merit Award (LOGMA) for emerging as one of the best performing Local Government Chairman in Nigeria, 2022.
He also disclosed that his advancement of the education sector through the building of schools both in Primary and secondary as well as his quality leadership through service delivery as the Executive Chairman of Umunneochi LGA was well acknowledged.
Responding, the Deputy Governor, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu while congratulating Chief Ifeanyi Madu on the meritorious award, commended his good leadership qualities clearly seen in the transformation going on in Umunneochi LGA and urged him to rise up to the challenge and added responsibilities.
