Celebration, Tears Of Joy As Tony Onyeomereneche Steps In

It was all joy and high ovation as the General Manager of Abia Newspapers and Publishing Corporation (publishers of Ambassador Newspaper).  Prince Tony Onyeomereneche steps into the News Room of the corporation venue of the End-of-the-year party of the Staff Welfare Association.

The meeting was also billed to honour two staff members, Nnenna Uchendu who is on transfer and Mazi Nwankwo Awom who is on retirement.

Addressing the staff, the General Manager appreciated the staff for their prayers and contribution in making sure recovered quickly.

Onyeomereneche, said that he has seen the saving hand of the Almighty God in his life; that before now he could not touch his two legs on the ground but today, at least he could limp with one leg. Stating that he deemed it wise, to join the members to celebrate the end of the year. “I started the year with you and I want to end it with you”

According to him money is not the ultimate but life and good health.   He thanked the staff of Ambassador Newspapers for their collective and individual prayers and token, and equally appreciated their visitations.

“Before I taught that money is everything, I wished to be richer, I wished to be like the next higher person, but today I realize that the greatest thing in live is good health and long live” he said

He enjoined the staff to always take prayers serious and focus on the Lord that without prayers he does not know what would have become of his fate.

Narrating God’s goodness towards him, could not to hold back his tears and the rest of the staff joined him, which was described by the chairman of Abia Newspapers and Publishing Corporation Staff Welfare Association (ANPCSWA) as tears of joy and prayed that the miracle be perfected by God Almighty.

The Chairman of the Welfare Association, Comrade Enyioko Chibuike enumerated his achievements anchored on the welfare of the members and provision of standing fans, decoder to the offices that need them.

He promised to do more by next year, stating that they have financial challenges which hampered total achievement of their set goals.

Earlier on the acting General Manager of the Corporation Brother Knigsley  Ugoorji thanked the organizers of the get together and applauded the achievements of the Chairman of the Staff Welfare Association, Comrade Enyioko Chibuike.

He used the opportunity to thank those present at the yesterday’s prayer session to end the year and promised that next year the management of the company will organize carol of 9 lessons, all with the aim of bringing the staff to Christ.

He enjoined the staff to always put in their best for the growth of the corporation.

High light of the party was the prayer session and presentation of Christmas gifts to the members by ANPC Welfare Association and the NUJ ANPC Chapel.
