The other two teams that will battle in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup emerged last night. A goal in each half by Son Heung-min and Dele Alli helped Tottenham Hotspur defeat Arsenal 2-0.
This is the first time the Gunners will be eliminated from the League Cup by Spurs since 2008.
In the other quarter final, Eden Hazard’s lone strike was all Chelsea needed to eliminate Bournemouth. With this victory, Chelsea have qualified for their second consecutive League Cup semi-finals a feat they achieved last in 2008.
Chelsea will play Tottenham Hotspurs while defending champions Manchester City will face League One side Burton Albion in a two-legged semi-final matches in January.
