Sanaa Mssoudy scored the competitions first ever hat trick as her three goals sank the Nigerian ladies.
Mssoudy scored the first goal in the first half before scoring a brace in the second half to complete her hat trick.
Rivers Angels’ second game is on Tuesday against Mamelodi Sundowns, who defeated Kenya’s Vihiga Queens 1-0.
In group A, Wadi Degla defeated Mandi 3-1 while Malabo Kings lost 1-3 to Hasaacas.
