CAF Confederation Cup: Enyimba Roast Rayon Sports, Ready for Raja.

The People’s Elephant, Enyimba International Football Club of Aba is through to this year’s CAF Confederation Cup semi-final after roasting Rayon Sports of Rwanda 5-1.

The first leg in Kigali ended goalless. Hence, Enyimba knew that their destiny was in their own hands and they grabbed it with both hands.

Stanley Dimgba opened scoring for Enyimba as early as the 12th minute. The visitors equalized on the 24th minute through Bonfilucaleb Bimenyimana. If the match had ended this way the visitors would have qualified on away goals rule. But, Rayon Sports fell behind five minutes later, when Ikouwem Udo netted Enyimba’s second.
