Enyimba International of Aba registered their first win in the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup with a resounding 4-1 victory over Black Bulls of Mozambique at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
Joseph Atule put the Nigerian side in front in the 6th minute only for the visitors to restore parity six minutes later through Ejaita Ifoni.
Ifeanyi Ihemekwele scored on the dot of half-time to give the People’s Elephant the lead into the break.
Former Super Eagles striker, Brown Ideye scored his first goal for Enyimba in the 67th minute to guarantee victory for the home side before Atule put the icing on the cake with his second and Enyimba’s fourth.
Despite the win Enyimba remain last in their group with four points. Their next match will be at home against Al Masry of Egypt next Sunday.
