A goal in each half helped Enyimba International of Aba defeat visiting TS Galaxy of South Africa 2-0 in the first leg of the play-off round of the 2019/20 CAF Confederation Cup.
Victor Mbaoma put the People’s Elephant in front on the 7th minute. Usule Martins made it two on the 60th minute to further brighten the chances of the Nigerian side ahead of the second leg in South Africa on November 3.
The other Nigerian side in the competition, Enugu Rangers lost to ASC Kara of Togo 2-1.
Winners of this round will progress to the group stages of the competition.
