BREAKING: House Invasion; Court Awards Abia Journalist #3.5million Damages ….EFCC to Tender Public Apology On Two National Dailies

 

A Federal High Court sitting in Umuahia and presided over by Justice Thomas Adiele  has awarded the sum of 3.5 million naira damages to Abia Journalist, Norah Okafor for invasion of her residence in the wee hours of the night by the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

 

 

In a judgement delivered today, Justice Adiele mandated the EFCC to tender public apology to the plaintiff on two National Dailies.

 

 

Recall that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on 23rd September, 2021 invaded the Abia Journalist’s house and destroyed lots of property.
