Bishop Onuoha lauds Gov Ikpeazu over peace, security in Abia

The President, Vision Africa, Bishop Dr. Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha has described Abia state under Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu’s leadership as the most peaceful state in Nigeria.

The cleric who disclosed this in Umuahia, Abia state during an interaction with newsmen, also thanked the governor for creating an enabling business environment in Abia.

Onuoha who decried the age-long neglect of Aba commended Gov. Ikpeazu for the infrastructural development in Aba.

In his words: “Abia is secured for investment. My investments in Abia is secured because there is security. People should take advantage of peace and security in Abia and invest in the state”.

Bishop Onuoha further described the relationship between Gov. Ikpeazu and religious leaders as cordial, maintaining that faith-based organizations are pleased with the proactive and collaborative manner through which the state government managed Covid 19 in Abia.

The clergy who further noted that there is freedom of speech in Abia, appreciated the coexistence between the Abia state government and the opposition parties in the state, maintaining that Gov. Ikpeazu has never allowed the use of government machineries against the oppositions.

He disclosed that Aba is the heartbeat of Abia state, urging for more roads construction and infrastructure in the commercial city in order to restore her former glory.

Onuoha who advised on the Abia governor to get more feedback directly from the people, called on Abians to shun politics of bloodshed which he added is alien to the state.
