Beach AFCON Final: Nigeria Tackles Senegal

The Super Sand Eagles will later today take on the defending champions, Senegal in the final of the 2018 Beach African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Both teams met in group B opener of this championship and Senegal defeated Nigeria 2-0 on penalties after full time had ended 4-4.

To qualify for the final, Nigeria defeated the host, Egypt 7-6 while Senegal whitewashed Morocco 5-0.

Besides qualifying for the final both teams have also qualified for Next year’s Beach World Cup billed to take place in Paraguay.

It is on record that both teams also met at the final of the last edition with the Senegalese emerging champions.
