The Permanent Secretary, office of the Secretary to Abia State Government, Lady Ogechukwu Maduka has charged staff of the office of the SSG to abide strictly by the ethics of the civil service for effective and efficient service delivery.
Lady Maduka who stated this during her maiden meeting with staff of the office of the SSG enjoined them to make hard work and sincerity of purpose their watchword to realize the mission of the present administration which according to her is to rebuild Abia for the good of all.
Mrs. Maduka appreciated the staff for their support and cooperation since she assumed office and urged them to sustain the tempo. She charged them to shun truancy and other negative vices that is counter productive.
She encouraged the staff to always be dedicated and punctual to duty as well as strive to be relevant wherever they find themselves, adding that the present administration ably led by Governor Alex Otti has the interest of civil servants at heart.
In a vote of thanks,the Chairman, staff welfare association, office of the SSG, Mr Onyekachi Wachukwu lauded the permanent Secretary,Mrs Maduka for her advice, assuring their maximum support to enable her succeed.
The meeting was attended by Directors and in all the bureaus of the SSG’S office
