The Super Falcons of Nigeria are through to the final round of qualifiers for the 2022 Africa Women Cup of Nations slated for Morocco.
Princella Adubea scored the only goal with which the Black Queens of Ghana defeated the Super Falcons at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday in the second leg of the first round of the qualifiers.
Nevertheless, the defending champions progressed on a 2-1 aggregate. Recall that Uchenna Kanu scored a brace when both sides met in the first leg.
Nigeria will most likely take on Ivory Coast who spanked Niger Republic 9-0 in their first leg encounter. The second leg will take place on Monday.
Other teams already through to the final round of qualifiers as at press time are Kenya, Djibouti, Namibia, Equatorial Guinea, Togo, Cameroon and Bokina Faso.
