AWCON QUALIFIERS: Super Falcon Defeat Ghana

The Super Falcons of Nigeria kept their recent poor run of form behind to defeat their bitter rivals, the Black Queens of Ghana 2-0 in the first leg first round of the 2022 Africa Women Cup of Nations qualifiers at the Omobolaji Johnson Stadium in Lagos.

Uchenna Kanu was the heroine as her first half brace was all the Super Falcons needed to defeat the Black Queens.

The Linkopings FC of Sweden striker opened scoring on the 21st minute, when she headed in Francisca Ordega’s cross.
