Anyaso Celebrates Catholic Women’s Strength and Faith

It was a moment of appreciation, inspiration, and generosity as Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso addressed members of the Catholic Women Organization of Nigeria during their 2026 Newsletter and Award Ceremony held at Mater Dei Cathedral in Umuahia.

The well-attended event, part of the 2026 Women’s Conference, brought together Catholic women from across Nigeria for spiritual renewal, empowerment, and fellowship.

Dr. Anyaso extolled the virtues of the women, praising their unwavering dedication to faith, family, and society.

“It is a joy and a privilege to be with you today. I sincerely celebrate your strength, your prayers, your sacrifices, and the love you pour into your families, the Church, and our society,” he said.

The conference once again reaffirmed the vital role of Catholic women in nurturing families, strengthening the Church, and contributing meaningfully to national development a commitment Anyaso described as inspiring and worthy of celebration.

Describing the women as a “shining light,” he offered heartfelt prayers for divine blessings and renewed strength.

“May God bless you abundantly, renew your energy, and make this conference fruitful and memorable,” he added.

In the spirit of the season, Anyaso also extended warm Valentine’s wishes to the gathering.

“As we celebrate love, let me use this opportunity to wish each and every one of you a Happy Valentine’s Day,” he said, drawing smiles and applause from the audience.

The highlight of the ceremony came when he announced a donation of ₦500,000 in support of the organization. The generous gesture was met with loud applause and deep appreciation, underscoring his solidarity with their mission.
