Anglican Bishops Visit Gov. Otti, Pledge Full Support

Anglican Bishops in Abia State, have paid a visit to Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti with the aim of enhancing their relationship with his government.

The bishops who came in their numbers were led by the Archbishop of Aba Province and Bishop of Isiala Ngwa South Diocese, Most Rev Isaac Nwobia.

Speaking with newsmen at the end of their private meeting with Governor Otti at his country home in Nvosi, Isialangwa South LGA, Archbishop Nwobia said they came to congratulate the Governor on his electoral victory and successful inauguration.

He further added that they held fruitful deliberations which focused on effective governance for the state and added that they also offered prayers for Governor Otti, for a successful tenure of office.

“We have prayed with him and exchanged ideas on how to govern the state. All is well”, Nwaobia said.

He emphasized that their visit had further strengthened the relationship between the church and Governor Otti’s administration, pledging their unwavering support to the current state government.
