Cameroon international goalkeeper, Andre Onana has joined Trabzonspor on loan for the rest of the season, after he failed to play in United’s opening three matches in the Premier League. The move has taken place before the transfer window in Turkey closes today.
Manchester United announced the deal, which is subject to international clearance and registration and wished Onana the best.
Onana’s only appearance for United this season came in their shock Carabao Cup exit at the hands of League Two Grimsby.
The Red Devils splashed £47.2m for the services of the 29-year-old, from Inter Milan in July 2023 as a replacement for David de Gea.
He made 102 appearances for the club and was part of the 2024 FA Cup-winning side that defeated city rivals, Manchester City 2-1 at the Wembley Stadium.
