AFCON TODAY: Mane, Mahrez Rekindle Rivalry

Africa born English Premier League stars, Sadio Mane of Senegal and Riyad Mahrez of Algeria will rekindle their rivalry later today in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations going on in Egypt when Senegal clash with Algeria in their second group C match.

Both players had a bitter rivalry during last season English Premier League which saw Mahrez and his Manchester City teammates clinch the league title at the expense of Mane and his Liverpool side.

While Mahrez was in action when Algeria played their first AFCON match against Kenya and scored a goal, Sadio Mane missed Senegal’s first match against the Taifa Stars of Tanzania, due to suspension.
