The Pharaoh’s of Egypt defeated Ivory Coast 5-4 on penalties to reach the quarter-finals at the Africa Cup of Nations after full and extra time had ended goalless.
Substitute goalkeeper Gabaski saved Eric Bailly’s penalty kick.
The final kick fail on no one else but Mohamed Salah, who rose up to the occasion and fired Egypt into the quarter final.
Egypt will face Morocco in an all North African encounter, in the last eight on Sunday
