AFCON Round of 16: Nigeria to face Tunisia

After losing 1-0 to the Gambia in their last Group F match at the Africa Cup of Nation, Tunisia will face the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the round of 16.

The match will take place on Sunday at the Roumde Adjia Stadium by 8 pm Nigerian time.

Tunisia would have scored first, when they were awarded a penalty only for Baboucarr Gaye in goal for Gambia to save Seifeddine Jaziri’s penalty.

Jallow scored in extra time to give the West African side all the three points.

In other round of 16 pairings, Burkina Faso will take on Gabon in an all West African warfare.

On Monday, Guinea will take on Gambia in another all-West African affair while host Cameroon will lurk horns with debutants Comoros Island.

On Tuesday, Senegal will confront Cape Verde Island as Morocco tread tackles with Malawi.

The last round of 16 matches will hold on Wednesday. Ivory Coast will take on Egypt while Mali will battle Equatorial Guinea.
