AFCON DRAWS: Nigeria In Seemingly Easy Group

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been drawn in a seemingly easy group for the 2019 African Cup of Nations to hold in Egypt between June 21 and July 19, 2019.

Nigeria will play in group B against Guinea, Madagascar, and Burundi.

Group A comprises of host Egypt, Congo, Uganda and Zimbabwe.

Group C has the Teranga Lions of Senegal, Algeria, Kenya, and Tanzania, coached by Emmanuel Amuneke.

Group D is the group of death. Morocco, Cote d’Ivoire, South Africa, and Namibia will fight to finish in this group.

Tunisia, Mali, Mauritania, and Angola will slug it out in group E.

In group F, Cameroon, Ghana, Benin Republic, and Guinea Bissau will battle for supremacy.

The top two teams from each group will qualify for the next round as well as four third-placed teams.

This is the first time 24 teams will be participating in the AFCON.
