ADC Abia Chapter Inaugurates New Interim Exco

 

The National Working Committee (NWC) of African Democratic Congress (ADC) has inaugurated the new interim Abia State Executives of the Party with a charge for them to work hard in unity so as to win the 2023 elections in the State.

 

Speaking during the inauguration ceremony held on Tuesday at Kolping Society Umuahia, a National Board of Trustee Member of the Party, Barr. Godson Okoye, urged the new State Exco to see their appointment as a call to duty.

 

Barr. Okoye, said the task ahead of them is to ensure victory for the party in the 2023 Elections adding that it requires a lots of work to ensure that the votes for ADC do not go to another political party.

 

In his words; “There is need to go back and revive our values and the fact checking systems we need to move the State and country forward.

“”The country exists in the States and if we have the right people in the various states the whole country would come out looking good”.

 

On his part, the 2023 Abia Governorship candidate of the Party, Bishop Dr. Sunday Onuoha, said his mission is to rescue the State adding that the party has the mandate to change the narratives and urged Abians to hand over the State which is God’s own State to God’s own servant.

 

In an acceptance speech on behalf of other Executives, the New State Chairman of ADC, Mr. Obioma Onwukaike, assured that the leadership would unite and carry every member along so as to achieve victory for the party.

Mr. Onwukaike, further encouraged the LGA chairmen who were part of the new interim excos to be the light others must follow and see their appointment as a call to duty.

 

Other members of the new interim State Executives of the party include; Prince Okwara Agwu- Deputy Chairman, Ndubuisi Sunday- Secretary, Barr. Catherine Uwaezuoke- Woman Leader.

 

Others are; Noble Uche-Youth Leader, Publicity Secretary – Engr Austin Nwaoloki, Welfare & Social Secretary- Chinemerem Nwogu, Organizing Secretary -Elder Hon. Ijeoma Nwaokeleme, Legal Adviser- Emerson Azubuike, Chief Whip- Ndubuisi Onwuchekwa, State Auditor – Very Rev’d P. C. Okeiyi, Financial Secretary – Mrs. Chinyere Ogba, Ex-Officio – Hon Franklyn Nwaunani and Ex-Officio – Pastor John Ukeh.

The event which was attended by party faithfuls from all the 17 LGAs of the State including dignitaries, witnessed the welcoming of new members into the party.
