Members of the Christian Association of Nigeria have been commended for their prayers towards the progress of the present administration.
The secretary to the State Government, Prof Kenneth Kalu made this known, when he received in audience the Executive members of Christian Association of Nigeria, (CAN )Abia chapter, who paid him a courtesy visit in his office, maintained that the present administration will always hold in high esteem the prayers of men of God and the people and urged them not to relent .
Prof. Kalu who noted that the government which is set out to do the right thing in the building of
Abia of our dream, assured them of the government’s willngness to welcome valuable ideas from them.
Speaking earlier, the chairman of christian Association of Nigeria, Abia chapter,Rev Ojojo Uduma said they came to congratulate Prof Kenneth Kalu on his appointment as the Secretary to the state Government as well to assure him of the readiness of the Association to partner the state Government. He also used the opportunity to appeal that the association be given its proper place as well be carried in the scheme of things.
Also contributing, the immediate past chairman, christian Association of Nigeria, Abia chapter, Apostle Emmanuel Agomuo, appreciated God for the victory given to Governor Alex Otti both at the election and tribunal and appealed for a formal inauguration of the executive members of the association.
