Abia NYCN Chairman Sylvanus Salutes National President Sokubo on Birthday

The Chairman of the apex youth body, the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Abia State Chapter, Comrade Engr. Smith Sylvanus, has felicitated with the National President of the Council, Ambassador Sokubo Saraigbe Sokubo, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a visionary leader.

Comrade Sylvanus, in a congratulatory message issued today Thursday, January 15, 2026 and made available to newsmen, disclosed that the NYCN President has remained a strong voice for Nigerian youths, adding that his tenure has been marked by uncommon dedication, purposeful leadership, and an unwavering commitment to youth development across the country.

According to him, Ambassador Sokubo’s leadership has continued to inspire countless young Nigerians to dream big, work hard, and strive for excellence, while promoting inclusiveness, capacity building, peace, unity, and patriotism among the youth population.

He noted that the National President has remained a consistent and courageous advocate for youth empowerment, education, and national development, earning him respect and admiration from youths and stakeholders across Nigeria.

Engr. Sylvanus expressed optimism that Ambassador Sokubo’s leadership would continue to serve as a guiding light for Nigerian youths and contribute meaningfully to national progress.
