Abia Mega Rally: Five Abia House Members Decamp to APC today

The All Progressives Congress in Abia state will hold its mega rally today Tuesday January 9, 2017.

The President and Commander in chief of Armed forces of the federal republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President, Yemi Osibanjo and the National chairman of APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun are all expected at the rally.

The former Governor orji uzor kalu, Hon. Solomon Adaelu Rep Members Osisioma, Obingwa Ugwunagbo, Hon. Nnamdi Iro Oji, Chief Chidi Ajaegbu, Mr. Ikechukwu Apugo, Sampson Uche Ogah and many other prominent Abia politicians will be officially admitted into the party.

Also, five members of Abia state House of Assembly have defected to the ruling APC.

The Lawmakers will be receiving the APC’s Membership card at the party’s Mega Rally today at the Umuahia Township Stadium, Umuahia.

The Lawmakers NEWSGLOBAL360 gathered are Rt Hon Martins Azubuike, former Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly and Member Representing Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency,Minority Leader of the Abia State House of Assembly Hon Chibuzor Okogbuo who is Representing Bende South,Hon Prince Ikedi Ezekwesiri Member Representing Umunneochi State Constituency,Hon Theophilus Ugboaja Member Representing Ikwuano State Constituency and Member Representing Osisioma South State Constituency Hon Emeka Alozie.

Although it was gathered that Hon Emeka Alozie of Osisioma South State Constituency is still working to be guaranteed the Ticket of the APC in 2019, others of his colleagues had sealed understanding with the Leadership of the All Progressive Congress in Abia State.
