Abia mass literacy access facilitators

The Executive Director, Abia State Agency for Mass Literacy, Adult and Non Formal Education, Hon Douglas Chimezie Nworji,has thanked Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, for the opportunity given to him to serve.
Nworji who stated this recently at Ibeku High School,Umuahia, the venue for the assessment test organized for the facilitators of the adult learners in the state, also commended the governor of Abia State for the good legacies he is leaving in the state.

Hon Douglas stated further that the essence of the assessment test is not to witch-hunt any body, rather, to ascertain the mental, physical and psychological state of the teachers before they can teach others.
He assured them that as soon as fund for the agency improves, he will not hesitate to increase their stipends.

Some of the facilitators who requested anonymity, stated that the exercise helped them know the real teachers of the adult learners; those who are fit to handle the job,while requesting for their monthly stipend to be reviewed upward. Over 200 facilitators took the test.
