Abia Legislator promises quality representation

The House of Assembly member elect for Isiala Ngwa North state constituency, Ginger Onwusibe has assured his constituents of quality representation at the state House.

Onwusibe who stated this in an interview with journalists at Amapu Ntigha,said he would propose bills and support motions that will influence socio-economic development in his constituency.

He promised to ensure even distribution of developmental projects noting that the people at the grassroot will feel the impact of government programmes and policies under his watch.

“My representation would be beyond the normal legislation. The major function of a legislator is to make laws for the good governance of the state but the people at the grassroots need to feel the impact of those laws.

“We are going to look at the education of the people, youth empowerment, women empowerment, cultural development,provision of health facilities, sports development among others.

“We are going to ensure even distribution of our developmental projects across
the 10 political wards and 44 autonomous communities in Isiala Ngwa North state constituency”,he said

Onwusibe who is the immediate last chairman of Isiala Ngwa North LGA, noted that women and youth empowerment, cultural and sports development as well as provision of health facilities will be on the front burner of his administration.

He described last Saturday’s Governorship and state House of Assembly Elections as “one of the freeist and fairest elections being conducted by the independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) and commended the electoral umpire as well as the security agencies for being neutral in the discharge of their duties.

Onwusibe, thanked his constituents for the massive votes given him assuring that he will not let them down.
