Abia Lawmaker Erondu Jnr, Appreciates God, Ex-Gov Ikpeazu, Others For Successful Interment

Abia lawmaker, Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr, has expressed gratitude to God, former Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, constituents and others for the successful interment of his late elder brother, Elder Azubuike Ihuoma Erondu.

The Chairman, House Committee on Public Service, Abia State House of Assembly (ABHA), who disclosed this at the thanksgiving service for the successful interment of his late elder brother over the weekend, at Apostolic Church, Azuogwugwu-Umuaro Village, Mgboko Umuanunu Ancient kingdom in Obingwa Local Government Area (LGA), Abia State, stressed that he values everyone’s support during the difficult time.

The former Director, Enyimba FC, who also reiterated his commitment towards sustaining the bond of unity in the entire Erondu’s family, thanked the church for their prayers and support at their grieving moment.

Meanwhile, the wife of the deceased, Mrs. Onyinyechi Erondu also thanked God Almighty, the Church, community, friends and well-wishers for their support while they mourn her husband.

They prayed God to reward them for their show of love, noting that their supports are well appreciated.

 


In his sermon entitled: ‘Do not be afraid, I am with you always’, the Minister-in-Charge, Apostle R.O. Nwadiole, commiserated with the Erondu’s family over the loss of Elder Azubuike Ihuoma Erondu, urging them to remain in unity for sustainable progress.

The clergy enjoined them to always put their trust in God, praying that affliction will not arise the second time in the their family.

Late Elder Azubuike Ihuoma Erondu who died on June 2, 2024 after a protracted illness was interred on November 29, 2024 in his hometown; Azuogwugwu-Umuaro Village, Mgboko Umuanunu Ancient kingdom in Obingwa LGA, Abia State.

Rev. Chimaobi Erondu, Mr. Chinedu Ihuoma Erondu, relations, friends and well-wishers, among others, were also present at the thanksgiving service.
