Abia Govt directs security agencies to clampdown on tricycles, commercial vehicles

Abia State government has directed all security agencies in the state, including TIMAAS and FRSC, to impound all tricycles (Keke) and commercial vehicles seen on the road from today to the end of the lockdown period and keep same in their custody for a minimum of 7 days.

A Statement signed by the Commissioner of Information in Abia Chief John  Okiyi Kalu said that only vehicles transporting food items and those exempted from the lockdown are allowed to be on the road.
