Abia Governor’s wife Mrs Ikpeazu condoled the family of Elder Mathias Nwaogu over the loss of their father

The wife of Abia State Governor Mrs Nkechi Ikpeazu has condoled with the families of Elder Mathias Chinyere Nwaogu, who loss their father, Elder Mathias Nwaogu to the cold hands of death recently.

The Governor’s wife who attended the funeral service of the late Mathias at Osaa Ukwu, in Obingwa Local Government Area of the State encourages the family to put their trust in God adding that all hope is not lost.

In a sermon, the President Eastern Nigeria Union Conference of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Pastor Bassey Udoh, said that death has taken away pains and afflictions of this world from Elder Mathias Nwaogu, and he is now resting on the peaceful hands of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Pastor Udoh advises those alive now to strengthen their path and seek God’s presence to enjoy eternal peace on the last day.

However, speaking with National Ambassador, the first son of the deceased Mr. Nnamdi Nwaogu, who spoke on behalf of the family said that their father who died at the age of 74, was never one to shy away from providing to them all.

According to him, “we all take after him because he is our pillar of support”.
